Alcohol Journeys App - Te Hiringa Hauora

Te Hiringa Hauora Health Promotion Agency is an evidence-based health promotion organisation committed to the mahi we do. On 1 July 2022 Te Hiringa Hauora | Health Promotion Agency became part of the National Public Health Service in Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand.

A project manager is required to manage the remainder of the tasks required to populate of the alcohol journeys tool. This is an audio story-telling tool featuring real stories of people’s relationship with alcohol and the impact it’s had on their lives.

It’s targeted at pre-contemplative and contemplative Māori midlifers (45 to 65 years old) who are drinking hazardously. It encourages them to reflect on their drinking and how it does/doesn’t fit with their aspirations and values, so they change their drinking behaviours.

Key deliverables:

  • Project manage the recording of four more stories
  • Project manage development vendor to update the UX/UI design for groupings for additional stories
  • Work with development vendor on updates to ensure that the tools meets WCAG 2.0 AA accessibility standards
