Hauraki PHO - Te Tara o Te Whai Localities

MEA collaborated with Hauraki PHO to develop a community-focused healthcare delivery approach, including organising wānanga sessions, crafting a communications strategy, and extending the campaign with initiatives such as a Whānau Resource Kete and community video interviews.

MEA and Hauraki PHO collaborate to innovate local healthcare delivery through community engagement and strategic communication initiatives from 2022 to 2023.

During the initial phase of the project, MEA partnered with Hauraki PHO to explore ways to develop a community-centred approach to healthcare delivery. MEA's involvement entailed organising community wānanga sessions, providing training, and crafting a comprehensive communications approach. This encompassed the creation of branding guidelines, management of social media platforms, website development, and dissemination of digital pānui.

Following the successful launch of Te Tara o Te Whai, the designated locality plan, Hauraki PHO and MEA continued their collaboration by extending the health reform campaign. This phase included the creation of a Whānau Resource Kete, conducting community video interviews, organising photography sessions for national hui, curating social media resources, and facilitating additional wānanga sessions.
