Puna Wai Ora - Te Aupōuri Iwi Development Trust

Te Aupōuri are one of the five iwi of Muriwhenua, also known as Te Hiku o te Ika a Māui, the Far North of Aotearoa.

Te Aupōuri Iwi Development Trust (TAIDT) is a charitable trust and a subsidiary of Te Rūnanga Nui o Te Aupōuri. TAIDT receives available funds from the Rūnanga for distribution to Te Aupōuri people and the community. All funded activities support the advancement of their people through the promotion of educational, spiritual, economic, social and cultural well-being.

MEA helped in delivering the communications strategy for Puna Wai Ora Te Hiku Drought Relief Programme Pilot Phase comprising communications advisory, brand development, whānau engagement and project management. 

Also, provided communications to key stakeholders (internal and external) that focused on vision, approach and progress. Communications services included was the development of a communications plan, drafting updates to key stakeholders, media releases, website development, social media campaign, content and delivery and communications advisory.
